One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $1,415,838 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Tuesday, Dec. 11th drawing.
The winning numbers were: 13, 27, 29, 33 and 41 and the XTRA number was: 02. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Wawa #8330, 960 Route 33, Monroe in Middlesex County.
Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Wawa #8330. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
Carey announced that there were 978,877 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 163 ticketholders won $505 each and 28 others won $1,010 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 5,948 ticketholders won $15 each and 895 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly 10,702 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
