Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in locating Deja Monique Jacobs, 30, of Irvington, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Thursday, February 13.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. stated that at approximately 12:38 a.m., police responded to Whitney Street near South Orange Avenue on a call of a shooting. 
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking Ms. Jacobs for questioning, according to Newark officials.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Deja Monique Jacobs to call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
