There were no serious injuries reported in a collision that occurred on a street in Irvington Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, it happened at approximately 9:50 a.m., emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Stuyvesant ad Chancellor avenues after they received reports of a car into a building.
Upon arrival, police observed that the driver of an SUV somehow lost control and took out a light pole but was several inches from striking the building.
A female was assisted out of the vehicle but no severe injuries were reported.
