A violent stabbing that left one person injured in Irvington has township police investigating.
Police were called to the area of Springfield Avenue and Maple Avenue shortly before 9:30 p.m. where first arriving units located the victim suffering a serious stab injury at that location.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark where they were treated by medical staff reports said.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
