In what has become a cherished tradition over the past decade, The Honorable Mayor Tony Vauss is once again bringing a Safe Halloween event to the children and families of Irvington, promising an unforgettable evening filled with fun and security.
Scheduled for October 31, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the event will take place in front of Town Hall at One Civic Square and will feature a host of attractions designed to provide a safe and thrilling environment for everyone.According to Irvington Township officials, this year’s celebration will be the largest yet, reflecting Mayor Vauss’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the well-being and enjoyment of the community’s children.
The event will include a Pumpkin and Apple Patch, allowing children to pick their own seasonal treats, along with a corn maze and free popcorn to enhance the festive atmosphere.
One of the event's highlights will be the T-Rex Bouncy House Experience, where children can enjoy an adventure alongside a life-like dinosaur.
In addition, there will be nine bouncy houses for kids to enjoy, guaranteeing hours of excitement.
According to officials, the event will also feature Mayor Vauss’s signature House of Horrors, a spine-tingling haunted house created inside Irvington Town Hall, designed to thrill both children and adults alike.
In a partnership with the Irvington Police and Fire Departments, Mayor Vauss will also be giving away free bicycles, ensuring that many children leave the event with more than just memories.
To top it off, there will be plenty of candy distributed to the eager trick-or-treaters, and a live petting zoo to delight and engage the young attendees.
Music and entertainment will fill the air, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere, according to township officials.Mayor Vauss’s dedication to the children of Irvington is evident through his leadership of this annual event, which continues to grow in scale and creativity each year.
