Irvington Man Arrested at US-Canada Border for Drug Possession

An Irvington man, 32, was arrested after the U.S. Customs and Border Protection employees allegedly found him with a cooler containing marijuana.

Customs employees at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge inspected John M. Morgan's vehicle after the smell of marijuana was detected.

Officials discovered more than a half-pound of pot.

Morgan was charged criminal possession of marijuana and is being held on $1,500 at the Niagara County jail.
