Irvington Hosts Second Annual Opioid Awareness Day Concert to Combat Crisis

The Irvington Municipal Council, in collaboration with Mayor Tony Vauss, is proud to present the Second Annual Opioid Awareness Day Concert on June 8, 2024, starting at 3 p.m.

Ad Township officials said the event aims to bring the community together to address the seriousness of the opioid epidemic and explore collective solutions to combat it.

The opioid crisis has had a devastating impact on individuals, families, and communities nationwide.

Recognizing the urgency of this issue, Irvington officials said the concert seeks to raise awareness about the epidemic’s effects and provide resources and information to help fight this ongoing battle.

This year’s concert features an impressive lineup of renowned musical guests, including Musiq Soulchild, Donell Jones, Q Parker (from 112), Melissa Morgan, Kenny Bobien, Viola Sykes, Kimara Lovelace, Bells 2.0 Band, DJ TAJ, DJ Qua, and many more.

Their performances promise to offer an unforgettable experience, showcasing the power of music to unite people in support of a common cause.

The event will take place in front of Townhall at 1 Civic Square, Irvington, NJ 07111.
