There were no injuries reported in a fire that badly damaged a commercial building in the township early this morning.
The two-alarm fire had firefighters in the 700 block of Nye Avenue at around midnight where crews arrived to find flames ripping through the roof of a two-story wood frame commercial structure according to reports.
The fire reportedly started in the basement of the business but quickly raced through the cockloft causing heavy flames to exit the roof.
Crews fought through thick smoke to make entry into the business where a search had no injured or trapped occupants.
Firefighters placed the blaze under control at around 3 a.m.
The cause is under investigation.
