The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of a shooting that struck two Paterson victims early Sunday morning.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 327 Market Street shortly before 1:55 a.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his shoulder and a second individual suffering a bullet wound in their leg at that location.
Both victims were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and expected to recover, according to police.
The latest shooting incident has left over 130 people shots in Paterson since January.
The motive for Sunday morning's shooting is under investigation.
