Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 3:42 a.m. on June 18, members of the City of Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Aspen Place between Columbia Avenue and State Street on reports of shots fired.
According to Passaic Police, upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene and a thirty-six-year-old male Passaic resident suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police say aid was immediately rendered to the victim, and he was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
