The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, alongside the Passaic Police Department, is investigating a reported shooting incident in Passaic. 
The initial report was received at around 6:50 p.m. on February 22, 2024, prompting members of the Passaic Police Department to respond to the intersection of Howe Avenue and Delaware Avenue.
Upon their arrival on the 22nd, officers found no evidence of a victim or crime scene.
However, in a subsequent development, the police department received new information at approximately 2:50 p.m. on February 23, 2024, related to the shooting.
Acting on this information, officers were able to recover evidence in the area where the incident was initially reported.
Currently, the investigation is active and ongoing, with further details expected to be released as they become available.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office is urging anyone with additional information about this incident to come forward.
