Monmouth County authorities announced an investigation into a fatal shooting that took place Monday in Neptune Township remains ongoing.
According to Neptune Township Police, on Monday, January 2, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Drummond Avenue for a report of shots fired.
Police say officers found Terrance D. Johnson-Simmons, 34, most recently of Brick, the victim of a gunshot wound. Johnson-Simmons was later pronounced deceased on the scene.
