Authorities are investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday morning at the intersection of State Route 34 and Airport Boulevard in Wall Township, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago.
The collision took place on January 20, 2025, at approximately 11:01 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a man driving a 2012 Ford F-250 was traveling southbound on Route 34 when his vehicle collided with a 2024 Black Kia Forte driven by another man.
The driver of the Kia Forte sustained multiple injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
The driver of the Ford F-250 remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The investigation is being conducted by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and the Wall Township Police Department.
