There is an active and ongoing investigation underway into a stabbing incident that injured two victims in Paterson on Sunday.
According to police, the early morning incident happened just before 12:20 a.m. in the vicinity of 520 River Street.
Police say officers arrived at the scene and found two victims suffering non-life-threatening stab and slash wounds at that location.
According to police, one of the victims suffered a slash wound to their face while the other person was stabbed in the arm.
Both victims were transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center for treatment and are expected to make a full recovery.
The motive for the attack is under investigation and there were no immediate reports of arrests.
