The Atlantic County Prosecutors Office Major Crimes Unit and Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit are cooperatively investigating the fatal shooting of a man late Thursday evening.
According to officials, on Thursday, March 16, at approximately 10:40 pm, the Atlantic City Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on the unit block south Texas Avenue.
Atlantic City Policd say officers located a male identified as Jamar Square (29 years old) of Lawrence Township, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Square was transported by medical personnel to AtlantiCare Medical Center, City Division where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
