Police have launched an investigation after a pedestrian was struck and seriously injured in Orange Sunday morning.
Officers responding to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian on Scotland Road and Central Avenue before 2:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the unidentified victim suffering from life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The injured was taken to an area hospital.
Police say a red pick-up struck the victim then fled the scene.
There was no other word on the injured condition.
Police are trying to determine if the vehicle that struck the victim was stolen.
