Passaic County authorities are investigating an internet prank incident that drew multiple police agencies in a Passaic neighborhood on Saturday night.
According to preliminary reports, police received reports of a bomb threat where the caller stated that pipe bombs were inside a residence in the 200 block of Park Avenue.
According to reports, the caller also told police that a suspect was barricaded inside the home who injured his mother.
Officers were able to make entry inside the home to conduct a search where the incident was considered unfounded and declared a prank.
It is not clear who made the phone call at this time.
The situation remains under investigation.
