The Township of Union Public Schools has announced an exciting new partnership with Varsity Tutors for Schools, a division of Nerdy (NYSE: NRDY) and a leader in live online tutoring.
Township school officials said this collaboration will provide all district students with access to Varsity Tutors' comprehensive platform at no cost to the schools, students, or their families.
The partnership is set to run through June 30, 2030, offering a wealth of academic resources for years to come.
This all-encompassing platform offers a variety of interactive study tools, collaborative workspaces, and dynamic tutoring resources, including 24/7 on-demand chat tutoring, on-demand essay review, live enrichment and remediation classes, SAT and ACT prep courses, celebrity-led StarCourse classes, and much more.
In addition, students can take advantage of self-study resources, college and career readiness tools, adaptive assessments, and personalized learning plans.
Isabella Scocozza, Director of Instruction and Funded Programs at Township of Union Public Schools, expressed her enthusiasm for the new initiative, stating,
"We are thrilled to bring the Varsity Tutors for Schools platform to our district this school year. This resource is invaluable for our K-12 students who need academic support or wish to explore enrichment opportunities. We encourage all students to take advantage of this on-demand tutoring to enhance their learning experience."
More than 500 school districts nationwide have already implemented Varsity Tutors for Schools to supplement classroom instruction and close learning gaps.
With 24/7 access to live tutors, students can receive help with homework, tackle challenging subjects, and take advantage of practice tests and personal lesson plans. The platform also offers expert-led live classes in subjects such as Geometry, Middle School Math, and Elementary School Reading.
Anthony Salcito, Chief Institutional Officer at Varsity Tutors for Schools, emphasized the value of this partnership, saying,
"Our platform offers a robust set of learning options that all students can benefit from, at no cost to the schools. The platform is available immediately and will remain accessible through June 2030.
