A shooting reported overnight in Jersey City left one person injured and police searching for a suspect.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 30's block of Wade Street shortly before midnight where responding officers located one person suffering a gunshot wound to the arm according to reports.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center suffering non-life threatening injuries reports said.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no reports of arrests made.
