A male gunshot victim was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment after a shooting left him injured at a location in Asbury Park.
Police say the shooting happened around 11:25 p.m. near 1312 Sewall Avenue.
Units arrived at the scene found the victim suffering gunshot injuries at that location.
The victim reported to police that an armed male suspect approached and began to fire at him before fleeing the scene.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and the suspect remains at-large.
