Elizabeth Police are actively investigating a shooting that transpired at the Mravlag Manor housing complex on Tuesday night.
According to reports, shortly before 7:45 p.m., law enforcement was alerted to gunfire, prompting a response.
Upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered an unidentified victim who had sustained a bullet wound.
Fortunately, the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
The victim was promptly transported to an area hospital where they are currently receiving treatment. Encouragingly, they are expected to make a full recovery.
As authorities investigate the circumstances of the incident, the motive behind the shooting remains elusive, and the suspect responsible for this act is still at large.
