Infant Found Deceased in NJ Hotel

Authorities in Passaic County are investigating the tragic death of a 7-month-old infant discovered earlier today in Wayne. 

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wayne Police Deputy Chief Joseph Rooney confirmed that Wayne Police were dispatched to the area of NJ-23 and Ratzer Road at approximately 1:42 p.m. following a report of a deceased infant.  

Upon arrival, officers identified a potential crime scene and located the infant, who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released additional details but have assured the public that updates will follow as more information becomes available.
