In response, RLS Media learned that Wanaque police increased their presence at all schools and extracurricular activities in the district.

Despite the heightened security, all schools operated on their normal schedules.

Officers met with the student and their parent to discuss the incident, and a background check revealed no firearms registered to anyone in the household.

Following an investigation, which included conflicting and unverified information, authorities determined that there was no credible threat to the school or its students.

Despite this, rumors and misinformation have been circulating on social media, causing concern among community members.
