After enduring days of hazy conditions, National Weather Service forecasters said residents in Newark and the North Jersey region can breathe a little sigh of relief as the air quality shows signs of improvement.
Although a widespread haze persists, the situation is not as severe as it was in the previous two days, providing some hope for clearer skies ahead.
According to the latest weather data provided by the National Weather Service, the day is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature reaching around 82 degrees.
The light south wind will gradually shift to the southeast, blowing at speeds of 6 to 11 mph. The humidity level stands at 71%, contributing to the overall hazy atmosphere.
While the haze may still be noticeable due to smoke from Canadian wildfires, it is essential to note that the current conditions are not as detrimental to air quality as experienced recently.
NWS forecasters in the Newark and North Jersey region continue to monitor the situation closely, with weather and health authorities providing regular updates to keep the public informed.
