Officials from the NJ State Police are looking into a crash that killed one person on an intersection in Warren County Friday evening.
Emergency responders rushed to I-80 near mile marker 8.8 after they received several calls reporting a crash with injuries at approximately 6 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene found a car that slammed into a tree with one occupant inside the vehicle according to reports.
EMS rushed the victim to Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono where medical personnel pronounced the unidentified person dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. There were no other injuries reported.
