Officials from the NJ State police are investigating a crash that fatally injured one person in Lodi Sunday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police were called to the westbound lanes near exit 63 in Lodi just before 7 p.m. where officers arrived to find a severely damaged car with one injured person at that location.
The unidentified person was pronounced dead at the scene according to police.
Police closed the right lane for the crash investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
