NJ State Police are investigating a crash that occurred on a highway in Kearny on Sunday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the eastbound lanes of I-280 near mile marker to investigate reports of a crash with injuries at around 1:35 a.m.
When Kearny and Harrison's emergency responders arrived, they found two vehicles involved in a collision with several occupants -including a child- inside one of the vehicles.
The collision caused severe damage to one of the vehicles but there were no serious injuries reported according to reports.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
