The Howell Police Department and Defensive Tactics Instructor, Fred Bauer, retired Howell Police Officer, will be hosting a Women's Self Protection Class.
The class - targeted for women ages 13 and up - will be held on April 9th at 6:30 p.m. at Howell PAL/Southard Enrichment Center, located at 115 Kent Road.
Police said a lecture on avoidance detection and hands-on demonstrations for common street attacks will kick off the class.
