Constructions workers were pulled from under a house that collapsed during repair in Newark North Ward Thursday morning.
Emergency responders rushed to the 400 block of 4th Avenue after they recovered reports of a house that had fallen around 9 a.m.
Crews arrived, found the newly constructed house on the ground, and began searching for trapped workers.
An Urban Search and Rescue team was called in to assist in the effort, but as of 9:47 a.m., no severe injuries were reported.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
