Overnight storms that passed through Northen New Jersey had lightning strike and caused damage to a house in Mahwah.
Emergency responders were called to the 1200 block of Faulkner Court at approximately 12:37 a.m. after receiving reports of a fire at a residence according to preliminary reports.
When crews arrived at the scene, they reportedly found an area of the roof and an interior wall destroyed at a three-story multi-family building after lightning apparently struck the structure according to reports.
There were no injuries reported.
