A one-alarm fire at an Elizabeth home this morning left one person injured.
Crews responded to the 400 block of S. Fifth Street for a report of a fire on a two-story wood frame home sometime around 9 a.m.
Firefighters gained control of the fire within 30 minutes containing it to the 2nd floor where the fire started.
One person was transported to area hospital with injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
