Hudson County authorities are currently investigating a shooting incident in Jersey City that left one man seriously wounded.
The incident came to light after the victim, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, arrived at the emergency room of Jersey City Medical Center.
Officials at the medical center promptly notified the Jersey City Police, who interviewed the victim.
He reported being attacked by a gunman around the vicinity of Woodland Avenue and Ocean Avenue.
Following his statement, police launched a search in the specified area for a crime scene, but details regarding their findings have not been disclosed.
