Police in Newark are on the search for two suspects who are wanted for a home invasion robbery that occurred at a residence in Newark's South Ward last night.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened in the 90's block of Weequahic Avenue shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Two male suspects reportedly forced entry into the residence and attacked one occupant who was inside the house using a gun reports said.
The suspect -who have only been described as a male Hispanic and a black male- fled the scene in a gray 2010 Toyota Corolla with reported NJ license plate number "ZJV-41Y".
The victim's injuries were not reported as life-threatening.
Newark Police is investigating.
