A Paterson resident was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center for treatment after being attacked during a violent home invasion burglary Monday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to investigate reports of an assault that happened at an address in 100 block of Godwin Avenue before 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews found the victim suffering non-life threatening injuries after suspects forced entry into the home and pistol-whipped the victim.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the attack and remains at-large.
Police are investigating
