Two Holmdel Township residents were arrested on drug charges as part of an investigation launched in January after a man was found on the lawn of a Telegraph Hill Road residence suffering from a heroin overdose, announced Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
Investigators executed a search warrant at 16 Telegraph Hill Road in Holmdel Township where 50 packets of heroin, hypodermic syringes and a knife were seized on Feb. 18, 2015.
Christopher J. Dios, 27, of Holmdel and Alyssa D. Morkevich, 23, of Holmdel, were arrested by detectives from the Bayshore Narcotics Task Force of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Holmdel Police Department as part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of heroin.
Dios was charged with conspiracy to distribute (Heroin), possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Heroin), possession with intent to distribute (Heroin), three counts of distribution of heroin, knowingly possession of a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes.
He is being held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold Township on a $100,000 bail set by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Francis J. Vernoia, P.J.Cr.
Morkevich is charged with conspiracy to distribute (Heroin), possession of heroin, two counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin, two counts of distribution of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic syringes.
She is being held in Monmouth County Correctional Institution on a $60,000 bail set by Judge Vernoia.
