A Holmdel man was freed from his vehicle by police Friday morning after his car went out of control and landed in a swimming pool.
According to authorities, officers responded to Seven Oaks Drive at approximately 8:10 a.m. after the unidentified man lost control of the car while backing out of his garage.
Officials say the vehicle went down an embankment, through two fences and crashed into the in-ground pool. Responding officers ultimately freed the driver.
According to police, the driver was unharmed.
