Firefighters in Hillside this evening, saved the life of an overdose victim.
Crews responded to route 22 east for a report of a man lying face down at approximately 5:30 p.m.
On arrival, HIllside Fire Department tour 2 rescue crew assessed the unresponsive person and Narcan was applied.
The person regained consciousness and started breathing on his own again shortly after Narcan was used.
