Params Police said the chase began around 8:30 p.m. when Paramus police officers spotted a white BMW X4, reported stolen from Somerset County, heading northbound on Route 17 near Midland Avenue.

The vehicle was linked to two separate motorcycle thefts.

The pursuit intensified as the BMW veered onto the southbound Garden State Parkway, ultimately crashing into the center divider.

Wiggins, believed to be the driver, and two passengers then fled into the woods off Century Road.

Both suspects were swiftly apprehended, with Jordan reportedly found hiding in a playground at Saddle River County Park.

Authorities suspect Wiggins is part of a high-end burglary ring operating out of Monmouth County.

Params Police say years ago, this group allegedly stole ten Range Rovers from a Jaguar dealership on southbound Route 17 by cutting a security gate lock and breaking into a locked key box.

Both men have extensive arrest records and have been in and out of jail since reaching adulthood.

Wiggins faces charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and two counts of eluding. Jordan is charged with resisting arrest and joyriding.

They are currently held at the Bergen County Jail pending their first appearances in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
