Police are on the search for three suspects wanted for an armed robbery of a high school students that happened this evening in the city's East Ward.
Cops responded to reports of an armed robbery on Van Buren Street and Monroe Street at around 6 p.m. when they arrived to the scene and located the victim who reported that three male suspects approached armed with a weapon and demanded personal possessions on New York Avenue and Van Buren Street
The suspects have been described as two dark complexioned, 6ft tall black males who were last seen wearing hoodies.
The suspects were accompanied by a light skinned male who reportedly pointed the weapon at the victim.
The victim (who attends a nearby high school) did not suffer any physical injuries.
