Middlesex County officials announced they want you to join Middlesex County REPLENISH on Saturday, June 1, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., as they participate in the Stop & Shop, NBC 4 New York tri-state area food drive.
According to officials, REPLENISH, formerly known as the Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS), was established in 1994 to champion food security and offer all Middlesex County residents access to nutritionally adequate sustenance and essential resources.
REPLENISH will be collecting food and monetary donations at the Stop & Shop in East Brunswick at 647 Route 18 South, Edison at 1049 US Highway 1 South and Monroe at 1600 Perrineville Road.
Officials stated there is a list of non-perishable food items you may donate, including Canned Chicken, Cereal, Macaroni & Cheese, Canned Meats & Pasta, Vegetables (low sodium), Fruits (low sugar), Diapers & Wipes, Stew (low sodium), Granola Bars, Rice, Pasta, Paper Products, Dry Beans (red, black & pinto), along with Soap, Shampoo, and Toothpaste.
REPLENISH is seeking volunteers for this event, officials say.
