Monmouth County officials are reporting serious injuries in a crash that occurred in a section of Neptune City on Sunday.
According to police, the early morning crash happened in the 40's block of NJ-35 - near Kelly's Tavern - around 2 a.m.
Officials say police and EMS arrived at the scene and found two vehicles collided head-on with victims trapped inside one of the cars.
According to police, CPR was rendered on one of the victims after firefighters made the extrication.
Both of the injured were transported to an area hospital for treatment and remained in serious condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
