Haskell Man Found Shot in Paterson

Authorities reported that at approximately 2:51 a.m., Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of Prospect Street and Market Street on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police located a crime scene, but no victim was found.

Members of the Paterson Police Department were later advised that a 36-year-old male Haskell resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center in Wayne via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was transferred to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson. 

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
