Authorities in Hamilton Township are searching for a suspect who fired gunshots at people on a street overnight before fleeing the scene.
According to police, officers responded to reports of gunfire around midnight near Tindall Avenue and Dunbar Street.
Upon arrival, witnesses informed officers that a Black male, last seen wearing a gray COVID mask and a gray hoodie, had opened fire at them before escaping.
The suspect reportedly fled in a white Chevy SUV with tinted windows, which was last seen traveling toward Trenton.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Police have not yet determined a motive for the shooting, and the suspect remains at large.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact law enforcement as the investigation remains ongoing.
