The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force concluded a month-long investigation this week with one arrest and the seizure of LSD, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.
Detectives received information that Kyle Shaw would be attempting to sell a large quantity of LSD in the South Broad Street area of Hamilton.
Police on November 6th around 6 p.m. located and arrested Shaw.
A search of Shaw’s person revealed two sheets of paper soaked in LSD, valued at approximately $5,000 on the street.
Police ultimately charged Shaw, 29, of
Hamilton, with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of LSD in a quantity of 100 milligrams or more.
Despite having been charged, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
