The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division concluded a three-week investigation on Thursday with one arrest and the seizure of $10,000 in cocaine.
According to authorities, on Jan. 25th officers with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Hamilton, Princeton and Trenton police, under the command of the prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit, executed search warrants at Vincent Vega’s Wilfred Avenue residence in Hamilton.
Police arrested Vega without incident, following a search of the home that lead detectives to the seizure of approximately 97 grams of powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Police said the seized cocaine has an approximate street value of $10,000.
Authorities charged 45-year-old Vega with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia and has since been released pending future court proceedings.
