Passaic County authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person injured in Haledon last night.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 100 block of Burhans Avenue just before 8 a.m. where they arrived to find the victim shot multiple times at that location.
Police canvassing the area located a potential suspect who they began a chase on foot in the area of Cook Street and Belmont Avenue.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson suffering serious injuries.
There were no official reports of arrests.
