The Roselle Park Police Department currently is in possession of numerous bicycles which have been recovered and are hoping to reunite with their rightful owners.
As a result of several ongoing investigations, Roselle Park Police Officers have recovered several bicycles that are believed to have been stolen.
Police are attempting to locate the lawful owner of these bicycles and request anyone who has had a bicycle missing or stolen to contact police.
Any information that can verify ownership including receipts, photos, detailed descriptions or unique markings can assist in verifying ownership.
A store receipt is not always necessary.
Anyone with question is asked to contact Roselle Park Police at (908) 245-2300.
Police issue the following bicycle ownership tips:
Keep a record of your bicycle’s serial number. You can simply take a photo of the serial number and of the bicycle and save it to your phone in your favorites or a locked album for easy retrieval in case your bicycle is ever stolen.
Flip your bicycle over, clean the grime from the numbers inscribed on the bottom of the frame between the pedal cranks, take a picture of those numbers and email that photo to yourself.
