In the city's 73rd shooting victim since January, police are investigating a shots-fired incident that caused injuries to a person in Paterson overnight.
According to police, officials at St. Joseph's Hospital contacted police when a male victim entered the emergency room, suffering gunshot wounds around 2 a.m.
Police say they have not found the location of the shooting at this time.
The condition of the victim has been reported as non-fatal.
