Police in Jersey City are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured a male Friday evening.
Shortly before 7:25 p.m., Jersey City Medical Center officials notified police when a gunshot victim entered the emergency room suffering bullet wounds.
Police arrived at the hospital and were advised that the shooting may have occurred in the area of Neptune Avenue and Ocean Avenue.
The victim is reportedly in stable condition and the suspect remains at large.
No other injuries were reported.
