Newark Police officials request the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a gas station robbery that occurred last night.
According to police, shortly after 10:30 p.m., two men walked onto the property of the Millennium Gas Station, located at 864 Mt. Prospect Avenue, and robbed the attendant at gunpoint.
Police say the men then ran northbound on Mt. Prospect Avenue heading towards Belleville.
Police described the first suspect as 5’8" tall with a slim build who wore a ski-mask, gray hooded sweatshirt and black jacket.
Police say this suspect was also armed with a black handgun.
The second suspect is also described as 5’8" tall with a slim build who wore a ski-mask, black and red jacket and light-colored pants
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in identifying these suspects and removing them from Newark streets.
